Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic

We went to the mountains of Dominican Republic for a latin jazz concert and to explore an area we didn't know much about. It was a nice, relaxing weekend and my favorite part was throwing rocks into the river. Mommy said that next time we'll go horseback riding and hiking!

Fall in Virginia

Kim had the fabulous idea of going to Homestead Farm in Virginia this weekend, so we went and had a great time with our friends!

Which pumpkin do I want? The orange one or the funky green one? Well, why not take both?!

No day is complete without taking the time to smell the flowers...

Mother's Day

I treated mommy to brunch at the Southern Sun for Mother's Day. She loved it. We spent three hours eating, playing, and enjoying the beautiful weather. What a perfect day!

Maybe it should be that April comes in like a lion instead of March.

Daddy broke his ankle paying soccer with his friends, so Mommy and I came to visit him in Pretoria while he is waiting for his post-surgery cast. We decided to have a little fun while we are here since this week was originally supposed to be a fun-filled beach vacation in Mozambique. Instead, we spent yesterday at the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve and had a lot of fun anyway... where else would I get to play with baby lions?! Look!

Don't worry, I am fine. They just wanted to play.

We went to the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg today and learned all about the history of South Africa and the apartheid era here. I'm not old enough yet to understand, but Mommy and Daddy will tell me about it again some day when I'm bigger. In the meantime, I sure had fun running up and down the pathways that wound through the museum. Mommy got her day's workout chasing me. Lucky Daddy had it easy this time since his broken ankle kept him in a wheel chair and he had an excuse to take it slow.

Where will we go tomorrow?

I love shoes!

I call them "so" and I love them, especially shoes that are 10 sizes too big for me.

I am not picky.
I like children's, women's and men's. I like flip flops, high heels, and slipons.
